Procedure

The process of receiving veneers generally spans 1 to 2 weeks from the creation of your dental mold by your dentist to the arrival of the veneers from the lab.

Upon receiving the veneers, an appointment is scheduled for their placement. During this session, your dentist meticulously assesses the fit, shape, and coloration of the veneers to ensure they meet your expectations.

Prior to attaching the veneers, your dentist cleans your teeth thoroughly, a crucial step in preventing the entrapment of bacteria under the veneer, which could lead to decay.

Following the cleaning, a grinding tool is employed to create a slightly roughened texture on each tooth designated for veneer application. This texturing facilitates a more secure bond between the tooth and the veneer.

Subsequently, dental cement is utilized to bond the veneer to the tooth, with ultraviolet light applied to expedite the hardening process of the cement.

The entire veneer placement appointment, which involves these steps, typically lasts no longer than 2 hours. The duration may vary based on the number of veneers being applied and whether a local anesthetic is utilized.

  1. The 3D digital smile designing tool is employed for the analysis and contouring of teeth, making it an exceptional tool for achieving a flawless smile makeover. This tool plays a crucial role in assessing the harmony between teeth and gums in relation to facial proportions.
  2. Through precise analysis, it provides a visual representation of the anticipated final outcome, contributing to the creation of a perfect smile.
  3. When it comes to ceramic veneers, Emax and Highly Translucent Zirconia stand out as the materials of choice. The bio-inert nature of zirconia imparts crack and fracture resistance, ensuring the longevity of the prosthesis.
